how did I missed this? thanks to one person who PMed me this thread! I'm so sorry, kelly!! you're (AND your LOVELY needy cats) in my thoughts daily until the day you can do a windmill I think it's good to feel pains >>earlier<< than suffering with minor pains for many another years so you can know what's wrong by now!!

I too sure hope there's someone taking care of your cats just like you. I was in hospital for two months straight in end of 2004 and NEVER had seen my pets, not on my birthday either. it was very, very awfully terrible...

Just got off the phone with Kelly. She does find it hard to talk with the tube down her throat but she also has some spray that she can use to dull the pain.

She is in good spirits and really appreciates all the prayers and emails being sent her way. BTW her room # is 254A and she is in with another girl.

She is on IV fluids and also a pain pump so she can administer pain meds when she needs it. The tube down her throat is draining fluids from her intestines. Tomorrow, they will have another look through x-ray and see what's what, then they will decide what to do next and if sir jury will be done.

As Karen first said, she will be in until beginning of next week so let's keep up those prayers and good thoughts.

I would love to send her a little something. I just need to know when since I am going shopping tomorrow. All I need is her address or the hospital's but probably hers because we don't know how long she is going to be there. I just sent an e-mail to there. Spoke with Kelly earlier and she's keeping her chin up, and hanging in there. She's ready for surgery if that's what it takes to get her WELL. Can't say that I blame her. Having Crohn's just SUCKS and often times at some point the best remedy is surgery.

Hearing her little voice just broke my heart. Please keep praying that they can find a permanent solution for her pain. Almost anything is better than the pain of Crohn’s

My heart breaks for her, poor Kelly. Crohn's sucks, big time is right. I hope the pain pump is helping her a bit. Hopefully the docs can relieve her misery, even if it is with surgery
