I've been using softpaws for years, and my kitties have always shed them off.
What sized softpaw cap are you using?
I had been using some that were way too small for the longest time and didn't even realize it!

Before you apply the nail cap, be sure to trip your kitty's nails, then make sure the cap is big enough to slip over the entire nail when applied.
