You wouldn't like it if people intimated that they hated your breed, or despised slobbery large dogs would you? I prefer small dogs, and never say anything derogatory about large breeds, though they’re obviously not my preference. In other words, if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything.

Who said they hated or despised small dogs? I don't see anywhere on this thread where those words were printed. They are just nicknames, there is nothing derogatory meant by them. Just because I have nicknames for them doesn't mean I don't like them or think they aren't special.

Now if I were to call them "disgusting little hairballs with no purpose", then THAT would be derogatory.
