Thanks everyone, I took him out swimming today, and he got away from me, and I had to get Maggie to track him in the field.
Yes, Maggie is a hunting breed of dog, 3/4 Lab 1/4 GSD , they are usually fine together, and she has been really good, I left Gizmo out to swim and Maggie started running towards him, and I said no, and she stopped and just left him alone, guess she learned her lesson...
