It's more of a shock now. Last week was hard but this week will be harder. My parents and grandma will get home today. For now the funeral is scheduled for Friday.

I'm oddly calm now but I know I'll lose it on Thursday. Or tonight when I get home and see my parents.

When I got the call Friday night, I called Andy immediately and he wasted no time in driving out to my house. I cried while waiting for him. Poor Kia didn't know what was wrong but did her best to make me smile.
