My girl was spayed yrs ago and thye used glue.... she was just fine.... you can always try having him on a leash and keep him near you so he isnt running about? This way he is out but not confined yet,,,,, kept calm... you can try letting him sleep withhis mates,,, just watch them if they try to play......
