    Elvis is home! pictures-

Friday we got to bring elvis home. I even got to get out early of school to pick him up because we wanted to see him so badly. When the lady at the office opened up his cage, he ran out, and basically plunged into me with his tail going out of control. It was so cute. When we brought him home all he wanted to do is try to get Katie to chase him. He also kept inspecting the house thinking something changed. hehe. He also wouldn't stop running, but I did get him to settle down to sleep.

His stiches looks weird. They look like they hurt, but I dont think so. I've even seen a change in him. He doesn't seem to be a bully to Katie anymore, he just wants play with her.

oh and he wont stop licking himself...should stop him? or is it ok?

ok, well. Heres the pictures. I took them outside because it was a gorgeuos 60 degree weather.

    I'm Home!

    Inside-

-sorry the pictures arnt all that good. He wouldnt sit still so their kinda awkard looking.

You sure don't look any worse for the wear, Elvis So happy to hear you're doing so well, little man!

A little licking is normal. But if he continues to lick constantly he might irritate the suture line. Just check the incision occasionally to make sure the stiches are intact, no drainage or oozing, or else....the dreaded cone head!

    Welcome home Elvis.

A little licking is ok. Does he has to wear a cone? Gigi had to wear a cone.

What a handsome boy he's grown to be. I adore that first picture.

Glad to hear the neutering went well! A little licking is okay, but like others have said, try to keep him from licking the area as much as you can and watch out for any swelling, redness or puffiness.

    Welcome home, Elvis!

    Thanks Everyone!

Today I layed him over to make sure his stiches were good, and right beside his stiches I saw a tiny red mark from licking. Would that be bad?

Just keep checking him, if it gets any worse then I'd ring the vet.
