Docker, you have made yourself an irreplaceable family now...

For our girls, it was the steak they stole off the stove..

For Spot, it was the box of doughnuts he ate inthe middle of the night.

Oh! Had I realized it was a right of passage, I wouldn't have given him quite so much grief over it. Or I'd at least have bought an extra fish!!

when alex the wonder was a puppy of about a year, he "helped" himself to a 5 # beef roast ( i was making stew and i swear i was 3 steps away w/ my back to the counter ) a $20 bill that must have been tasty ( found that in the yard for 2 days) and took 5 bites from 6 oatmeal-peach muffins.. that was on the back of the stove cooling. welcome to the wonderful world of counter crusing docker!

My in-laws used to send my hubby and me a Smithfield ham every Easter until my hubbys dog learned how to open the fridge a few years in a row. We quickly learned to tie up the fridge with a bungie cord. No hams for a few years until Grizzly had to go to The Bridge. The next Easter a ham showed up with a note "now that Grizzly is safely planted in the back yard we thought we could send a ham again" Now it's Rascal that gets in the fridge. Once again we have a bungie cord on the fridge

Lexi Lover, that turned out beautifully. How neat to see all three faces of my cyber grand-dogs every time Steve posts.

    Hi Nicole,

I've been around, in fact I posted the last two weekends in a row as I dog-sat two different dogs on those weekends. Just to prove it (!), here are links to the threads.

Thank-you very much for your interest! Yes, Docker is getting along well, he is putting on some weight and him and Tasha play ALOT now, mostly on our runs, but they play quite a bit inside the house and in the yard. Docker tries very hard to get Buddy playing but that is an almost impossible task; once in a blue moon buddy will oblige him for two minutes or so!

    Hugs and Treats backatcha!!
    Steve

Of course, who could forget Chance!! LOL

I actually took a short video the other day of them playing (even Buddy!), but I haven't figured out how to get it on to my computer yet let alone post it! I think soon I will have to go against everything I believe in and consult the owner's manual of my camera!

How old is Joey? He's really cool looking!
    Steve
