When I open mine up as a webpage on PSP (as a jpeg) it's only 18K - meaning it's below the limit. I wasn't aware we had to get it even smaller than that. You go by what it shows up as here. Some places people use to upload their signature images to the web change the size of graphics. It's always tricky!
