Thank you Laura, but as of now we do not need another rescues help, although suggestions are always welcome. I have spoken to my vet and she has said it will be fine for the puppies to travel so far (I cleared this before, and after we found out momma was sick).
I wouldn't reject the help just yet. Bottlefeeding newborns is HARD enough work when there are just a few, but to take on SIX is a bit much for anyone. I usually can only handle them in pairs and I've had a lot of bottlefeeding experience. I know you live with your family so maybe it will be easier because more people can help. But I do think if that rescue is willing to help, splitting the puppies into 2 groups of 3 would make things MUCH MUCH easier and less stressful.

With that said, I hope mama can be comfortable enough until they are weaned. This story just breaks my heart.
