My cat Spencer also has the bloody diarehha (sp) occasionally. Turns out he has a tendancy to get hold of the giordia parasite. I don't know where he gets it, possibly from the litter box. However, medication always gets him over it. Sometimes it just goes away itself. I'm sure your vet will be able to get him well - keep us posted, I'm sure he'll be OK.
