That sounds like the best way to have supper! Glad Helen is doing ok and taking in lots of fluids. Did you make Helen a "Easter Shake" of pastel colors? LOL

That was a very nice thing to say, Jennifer. Thank you. I do think we have a warm, cozy house with all of our furry friends, but along with that comes lots of fur and dirt too! LOL!!!!

Helen just awakened and my mom is with her. She is so much better (at least she was last night). I think she is improving every single day. If all goes well and the doctor releases her on Thursday, she will go spend a few days with her dad and "other" family. I sort of like having her around all the time!!!

You are all welcome here anytime you want to come!!

Good morning! Our Helen is improving every single day, thank you, Niina. She is spending the weekend with her dad, continuing to rest, and still can't eat a whole lot because of the pain in her throat. But she had a good checkup at the doctor on Thursday and he said "one more week", and she'll be as good as new. She feels a lot better, but must take it easy this next week.

Oh Logan I'm so sorry to have missed this thread (been away) it sounds as if Helen is over the worse - yes?
You know over here when the children have tonsils removed their kept in hospital for at least three or four days after surgery!! Amazing. So you've nursed Helen through the very worst haven't you? What Mum's can do!!!! I just hope she goes on to a full recovery and that you'r managing a little rest this week-end.xxxxx

    Love Lynne

Logan, let me echo Lynne's thoughts.........I hope that you can get a little rest and relaxation this weekend. You deserve it!

You have been through a rough time and I am sure you are exhausted yourself!
