I did see the dog again this morning,on the street where she used to live. She's gotta be smart if she's hanging around like that. I saw her with a little girl,playing. I thought maybe the little girl's family took her in.

Well, after we came home from the grocery today, my father said that she was in the yard behind us again, probably eating the foot/water I gave her. He said he called some people he knew and said that nobody wanted to take her. So this is the last straw. I am about to call the humane society and see what I should do with her. I dont know if they are open 24-7. If they suggest calling animal control, I'll do that. But before I do anything, do you think I need to see if she'll come around? I'm sure I'll see her again if she's still wandering-when, I dont know.
If I see her in the yard again,I'm going to try to keep her there until possibly the animal control can get her.

To make her dining experience enjoybale, I bought a new food/water dish, some doggie food JUST for her (and not for Daisy the pig LOL), and some canned dog food. I'm going to try to be the one who feeds her if nobody will.

I hate going through this situation because I never had to do this before. It breaks my heart seeing her stray like this. I hope I see her again soon because I am really going to call for help this time.Whats worse is that I know the man who just abandoned her out in the streets. I wish he could get his sorry butt arrested for animal neglect but nowadays, you cant get anything done for justice.
