You might want to get her and tie her up outside your house until you find somebody to take her. Or put her inside your fence if you have one - wouldn't want her to get hit by a car or anything.

I wouldn't think it would be difficult for her to be adopted if you called the animal shelter - it sounds like she's a pretty dog and well-behaved. Since it's a no-kill shelter, I'd feel better about bringing her there than letting her roam around.
