My "C" of the day...dear old Cookie girl, who lived as a feral for who knows how long before I was able to outsmart her, and take her (and her 4 newborns) in. She went deaf from an inner ear infection while outside, but picked up signals from the other cats, and whenever I approached, she'd take off! The night I got her (after over 2 years ) she let down her guard, and purred away. She's such a wonderful girl. My treasure, and another one's trash.
