I used to have the same problem. I solved it! How? I started leaving the carrier out in the living room with all their toys nearby, etc. After just a day or two they became curious why that funny-looking box was still there and they started getting in the habit of going in there for a nap. Now I have NO problem getting them in there to go to the vet. (My carrier is the kind that you can take the cage front off so I do that in between vet visits. I also have their favorite blanket in there to keep it "cuddly" so they no longer see this carrier as a threat.)I figure I won't even be able to get her in the carrier! She knew what it meant when I got it out today, had to chase her down & force her in . . . tomorrow she'll definitely know what it means!
