We have all been moved to tears after reading the inpirational "stories" behind each and every one of today's extra special, most courageous and deserving honorees...Dog, Cat and Pet!!! And "behind" each and every honoree, stands a family totally devoted, unconditinally, to the health, happiness and well being of their amazing companions! Bravo to you, families!

Brandy, beautiful girl, you have had to face so many daunting challenges in you young life, abandonment and surrender, circumstances that sadly often result in the overwhelming fears and insecurities that so often are part and parcel of the pound pup personality Not every adopter, as well meaning as they may be, is able or willing to make the commtiment to a dog with special needs. But every once in a while that EXTRA special family or human comes along, totally devoted to making it work and you precious Brandy, were so blessed! And how you have rewarded them their commitment with your love and companionship! I have no doubt there was a higher force at work that fateful day at the shelter! Many thanks to your family for giving you, such a precious soul, a second chance, a paw up in life...the opportunity to shine, shine, shine!!! Each and every life is precious and worth saving and you dear Brandy, are living proof of that! Keep up the good work being the beautiful, brave girl that you are, bringing so much love and joy to your wonderful family! Congratulations to Brandy, our most inspirational and deserving DOG OF THE DAY! Lots of love and hugs and happy tail wags to you sweetheart from me and my girls Star and Cody!
