As promised, here is my dragon collection.

Most of it is on my 'dragon shelf', but a few pieces rest here and there about my apartment. Some stuff is in storage.

    Here is the shelf:

The shelf from left to right:

The blue dragon was a High School graduation gift. The blue dragon represents me and the broken chain around his leg represents high school. The green dragon candle my mom found while in Tennessee.

The little guy that clings to the bottom of the shelf:

    More in next post....

Kimmy, if you ever sell any of your dragon art, let me know. You have some great stuff! I really like the dragon bottle, the wall sconce and the riderless fell beast.

    Thanks Ash.

I got the poster at a local convention, YEARS ago.

They do sell the poster at Michael Whelan's site.

    Go here:
    https://www.michaelwhelan.com/index.asp?vsPage=store

    Then click on Prints
Then click on << OPEN EDITION PRINTS AND POSTERS

It's $25. If I recall correctly, that's what I paid at the convention.

It's a good size poster and beautiful! I really need to get it framed.

PJ, I don't think I could ever part with my dragons. But if I have too, I'll keep you in mind.

Well, I got 'Dragonsdawn' and 'Dragonflight' from the library yesterday. I'm on page 166 of Dragonsdawn and I am SO hooked!

Great dragon art everyone, and Kimmy, I love all your dragon stuff!

Thanks, glad you like them. I looked in their online shop today and oh, how I want some more! Not only of the myth & magic but some, - no, make that all, of the dragonland ones too! Here's the link if you want to take a look. http://www.kingsandqueenswizardsanddragons.co.uk/

Ooh...I met Anne McCaffrey and went to her house in January, when I was in Ireland. She actually came to the DART station, picked me and another girl up and drove us to her house! She is really nice. Her house (Dragonhold Underhill) is incredible and she has dragon art everywhere, as you can imagine.

The girl I went with is a big fan and set up the meeting (we were part of a larger university group traveling in Ireland) and we snuck away and went to meet Anne. We had a really nice visit and met her cats and dog (her dog slept in my lap the whole way back to the DART station) and her horses.

It was great meeting her, and definitely one of the most memorable parts of my trip. Here's a picture of us. I had been in the rain earlier so please excuse the hair!

What a great story boscibo. It's something I'd definitely never forget!

Did you get to talk to her about her books?

Woo! Got another one hooked. Hope you enjoy the series Chris. Thanks for that link.

boscibo, that is SOOOO awesome! I was able to meet her and her son, Todd, when they came to Atlanta for Dragon*Con. Not at the personal level that you did of course. Again, I'm so envious.

    LUCKY!

LOL, my dream is to meet or talk to her! Even if it's only for a moment!

Kimmy - My mom is moving to Georgia this summer so she said that if I want to I can fly down and stay with her during Dragon*Con and we can go to it! I'm so exited!!!!!

    Dragons rock!

I do love dragons, one of my bettas is Draco and I just got a new bowl for him as a birthday gift. Its 1.6 gallons and has a castle and a dragon in it! I have the animal planet special written down so I don't forget it and my roommate is just as excited!

Here is a link to what the tank looks like (mine is the third one down)
    FantaSeas
Shadow & Gus (the kitties), Blink (the gecko), Draco, Satine, Damon, & Outback (the fishies) ~I'll be there for you - 'cause you're there for me too~

Be at peace, Erin, I will miss you and remember your sweet face always...
