To be honest, I don't know where it all comes from, except that it all started when I saw a picture of my little catnip-blossom Edwina!! So, that's the key. If one of these gals makes your little cat heart all a flutter...she might be the one! Have you seen Kylie (shais Mom's furry white cat) or what about that Kitty?

Spring has arrived. As I sit on my chair and gaze out the window at my Entertainment Center I see....Mr and Mrs. Cardinal (she rather dull looking, he -- so dashing and bright), two pairs of mourning doves -- cooing and planning their nests, squirrels -- frolicking and flirting -- two by two. And I, by myself, wondering..."where's the mate for me..."

Oh Marius, your beautiful words stir my soul and quiet my nervous heart! You make me feel as aquiver as the new earth, my feelings sprouting like the crocuses and tulips, my heart overflowing like the rain swollen streams!

You are, as my papa would say, a love bucket! I will post your passionate photo on my chair and when I feel envy of the wild pairs outside all I'll need to do is look at your soulful green eyes, your winsome smile and I'll be comforted.

What big feet you have my precious, patient pussycat of love! But good taste in foot wear. Black shoes are by far the more effective with your coloring.

My darling… I have had a traumatic week. As you know I decided to give up my dream of a career as a show kitty after seeing all those svelte, groomed sissies. (Oh, I know that is probably just jealousy talking!) Anyway, my next career move – Easter bunny – was derailed by the objections of the International Association of Rabbits and Hares (AFL-CIO.) A grievance was filed by the union steward, Bunny, and was signed by the Kids and Ms. Sophie on behalf of bunnies everywhere! Truthfully, that career wasn’t “really me.” I was just doing it to please my momma. So I am at a loss for a career direction. Perhaps a rest will help me think clearly.

But I have you….my snowball of love! Who needs a career when I have my Marius…my alabaster prince of poetry! Since we both seem to be fond of the dreams that come during a good hard nap – let’s let our dream mingle – somewhere over the Continental Divide and we can dance in the Easter flowers cascading down the mountain (careful with those big feet of yours!)

Give you momma a birthday kiss for me (and one for you!) I would like to attach a photo of me for you to dream over but my momma hasn’t figured out this attachment thingy. (I am however, expanding my vocabulary greatly as a result of her efforts.)
