Question, though...
In the article, it's stated, "We do not know how long I was dead, only that she found me thirty minutes before. ... She can verify that I really was dead. It was not a near-death experience."

But at the end it states, "Mellen-Thomas Benedict is an artist who survived a near-death experience in 1982."

What's up with that?
