YES!! That is why it scared me I guessOriginally posted by iloverat
Mr. Unperturbable hisself is all hissy?????What's up witdat, Dylan?
He spent most of the day outside - never would go lay down either. He *Sat* right in front of the sliding doors and stared inside. If he saw me, he would give me those sweet *eyes* - you know the ones!! Twice I let him in - of course the babies have so been wanted to see him and somebody would approach and...HISSSSSS!!!! Out he went again. I let him in about suppertime while both kittens were asleep and he has been fine since then
I am certain it was the smell as Jan and others thought, too. Also, Emily was the first to hiss but that was yesterday. Poor ole Dylan - no telling what all he associates with the white coats. I know they botched his declaw and now has bone fragments that hurt him at times and he will NOT allow anyone to touch his paws or belly. But, it WAS startling for that big lug to hiss and start breathing heavy
Lizzie is still puny but at least she has walked around a bit and seems to be feeling better. She ate and drank too. She let me hold her with the warming pillow several times. I LOVED that.
Life is basically back in order at the Sirrah house!! Thanks everyone!!!
