Yes, she did bite her tail raw and ended up having around 4 inches removed. Whether she will have to have more taken off depends on whether she keeps on biting and causing more damage.Originally posted by MommyOf3cats
Sorry to hear about Ebby's tail! Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, I don't know what happened to her tail, but it sounds as if what I've read so far is she's biting it raw? If that becomes a problem for the long term can the tail be removed? I have no idea if that's a painful surgery?
About the same, slick, thanks for asking. This morning she was pretty good on her cone-off time. But this evening she wasn't so good, after about an hour cone free she tried to get at her tail a few times so she now has it back on until tommorow.Originally posted by slick
