I don't think there really is such a thing as Mini Aussies...just another BYB breed. Backyard breeders breed Beagles with Chihuahuas and Dachshunds to make "Pocket" Beagles which is supposedly a new breed all on it's own.The "designer" breeds usually have plently of health problems because of bad breeding and/or their small size.
I've seen some BYB bred dogs who smaller than guinea pigs and I feel really bad for those dogs because none of this is their faults.The breeders are the ones to blame for everything they have to go through.
The only PUREbred dogs are the ones recognized with the AKC/CKC.
