I'm primarily a dog person (though I do have a tough little kitty also) and I am touched by your decision to forego holidays rather than leave this gorgeous cat in someone else's care. I can't stand the idea of my babies in cages while I leave town either, especially since they were all strays or pound puppies - except the cat, who was feral at my apartment and eventually moved in with me - I am sure they would feel abandoned again!
