If Autumn had a snap collar, it would break the second she saw a squirrel. She has had them in the past and they break too easily. She also breaks retractable leashes.

I have both the plastic snap and the metal buckle. I don't like the plastic one, don't trust it. He wears the metal buckle one for tags and on walks I just slip the choke chain on and he wears both (leash attached to choke chain, of course). Some may think he is too young for a choke collar, but if I didn't have that he'd pull constantly!

Josie has a metal snap (is that what you call them..?) collar, Zeke has a plastic one. I like the metal one
