Gonzo always wears leather buckle collars, unless he's going to the lake or the park .. he usually wears nylon harnesses when he's out playing and going to get dirty, I also love them because I can just grab onto him and he cant slip out. He has never actually slipped out of any collar, because I always make sure its the perfect fit.

Rolled leather is the best collar! period! Instead of using choke chains/prongs, use a rolled leather collar adjusted properly at the neck and just secure enough to slide two fingers between the collar and the dog
