I'm not really a race fan...Mark's the fan in this house. But I am really excited to go. I recently got a chance to go to the Lowe's Motorspeedway when they were doing some practicing. Unfortunately Mark wasn't with me, but I did get to call him and say "Honey, guess where I am?!" He was so jealous! But I did get alot of good pictures for him
There was usually only 4 cars on the track at a time and it was soooo loud! I can't imagine what 43 on a small track is going to sound like

You guys are so lucky to be going to the Bristol Night Race!
I think Bristol and Daytona would be the most fun tracks to go see a race at.
I have gone to see races at the New Hampshire International Speedway and it was a lot of fun.
You will need ear protection and you probably won't be able to hear each other talk unless it is during a caution lap.
Have a great time and take lots of photos for us, there should be a lot of bumping and banging at Bristol.

Not a problem...just had to give you a hard time!!

The only race I have been to so far was Kentucky Truck series....and it was loud!!!! I'm trying to work something out for MIS this year though...my boss always goes for the whoel weekend, and I'm trying to get him to get me some tickets.

When your favorite driver is in the middle of the pack and things start to get squirrely do you take a deep breath, go "WHOA", and
