I can understand how you feel. It can be very frustrating when your computer messes up. Do you have a virus scan on your computer? That what my husband does every time I have a problem like that on my computer. He does a virus scan and it will usually show what the problem is. If the problem still exists, he reformats my computer. Do you still have pictures on your computer and other files saved? You could make a backup of all of them and then reformat your computer.
