defiantly need supervision with rawhides. As for your burring problem if your dog happens to burry them all the time.. what you can do is supervise them and not let them take treats/bones outside .. if they persist or do so when your not home then what I have had to do is get solid bones and put a screw in them and attach the screw to a chain attached to my house either in the inside or outside but the chain is not long enough to get to the dirt gravel or grass where she could try to burry it..
