The cat and the lion where in a tense stand-off.


All of a sudden the brave black cat jumped onto the lions back, catching him off guard!


When the lion whipped it's head around to see what had happened, the black cat fell. Susie began to cry.




The lion whipped around again when Susie screamed and the black cat jumped up, not to be defeated!


The black cat yowled with pride and swiped the big mean lion with a sharp claw.


And the poor lion ran off.


"Yay kitty!" Susie cried, giving the cat a big hug. "I'm gonna keep you, and take you home with me, and give you a nice warm bed to sleep in and I will love you lots for saving us!" she cried.


They all cheered for the brave black cat who saved Halloween.
