That IS a good idea, I might have to try that. My hands always feel better when they are warm. My family has no history of arthritis, all of my mom and dads joint pain come from places theyve been injured. I was in competition fighting for a while and got really banged up doing it. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you have a family history of arthritis you really should get yourself into see a MD soon. The longer it goes untreated the more permanent damage it will do to your joints.
In the mean time, try the naproxen or advil (make sure to take with food). Try hot compresses, etc.
This is going to sound strange, but I used to have the same problem with my hands when I lived in a colder climate. I used to wear a pair of those thin knit gloves when I was at the computer. It kept my hands warm and I was able to keep working.*I AM a klutz lol*
Maybe I just have never healed corectly. I never did go to the doctor for any of my injuries, Id hate to see what X rays would reveal!
