Well, I knew the guy from Hawthorn Woods, IL! I never actually met him, but I talked to him on the phone all the time. He was a project manager for a few jobs we did. My boss knows him personally, and even took him and his two kids (the third kid is only 3 months old!) out on his boat during the summer. He was always really nice to me on the phone and and never seemed irate or irritated like some project managers. He was always really helpful in getting the answers I needed - like when are we going to be paid.
I heard the news story last night on the news and heard his name, but I didn't connect it with him because there is NO way I would ever think the guy I talked to would kill his parents!![]()
He was just a normal guy! Amazing how people can just snap like that. And it's SO sad because obviously his wife had no idea and all their kids are under 8 - and like I said, the youngest is just 3 months old.

Oh, and thanks to Slick's Baileys, I can now turn my head to the left. Haven't gotten it all the way around yet, but I'm headed home for some split pea soup for dinner, and then I'll attempt the full turn.![]()

Hope everybody has a great evening. I'll probably be contemplating the meaning of life - and how things can go so bad so quickly - for the rest of the evening.....
