I wasn't even interested in them a few years ago. When I was at the library with a friend, she forced me to take it out cause she swore it was so good. I reluctantly took it out and actually enjoyed it! I haven't read the fifth one yet.. I've had it since it came out but just haven't felt the need to read it since I know what happens.
