how long has he been on the pred?
Sometimes it can take a couple/few months (especially when dealing with a large & continued problem like Jaspers skin) before you can skip a day.
I just checked back, he's been on the pred. longer than I thought , almost 2 months, he first went on them on July 26th

He was cleared up more than he is now, it got worse when we skipped 2 days, so right now we're back to 1 a day, and hoping to get back to 1 every second day again when he's cleared back up.
