If you mean trimming the hair off of the hocks as the back of his legs, most groomers (that I'm aware of) do this. Also, at least where I work, *many* people request that the feathering on the back of the legs/hindquarters be trimmed. I don't trim anything but the feet and hocks unless asked, but I don't find it all that uncommon to have a groomer trim the back of the legs.The forelegs well feathered, the hind legs heavily so, but smooth below the hock joint. Hair on tail profuse. Note: Excess-hair on ears, feet, and on hocks may be trimmed for the show ring.
