I don't think he has herpes because Corkscrew has been tested for pretty much everything, so I would think that I would have been told something if that's what he had.About the runny eye, has Corkscrew been tested for Herpes virus? Cats that are under stress will 'activate' the virus and it will shed. Many people who bring cats home from a stay at the vets or a shelter will suddenly find the cat has runny eyes.
Just a thought. Ever since Nakita was diagnosed with the herpes virus, that is the first thing that I think of when people mention eye problems after a stressful situation.
The eye problem also didn't start after the vet visit, he had the eye problembefore then we had gone to the vet about two weeks ago and got some medicine for it. It was yucky when we went back to the vet this last time for the UTI. After spending two nights at the vet his eye had totally cleared up at look perfect. Then after being at home for a night it became runny again, I'm thinking that it may be allergies in the house.
