Sadly, the Second Annual California BBQ weekend has come to a close.

Richard and I took Slick and Mizz Zippy to the airport this morning.

Thank goodness security is so tight that they won't let you stay curbside very long. Otherwise tears would have been flowing in a serious way.

We aren't allowed to go to the gates anymore and we saw police about every 200 feet all along the route through the airport.

It is a sad reminder of the times that we live in.

Please everyone, say a little prayer that Slick and Zip have a safe journey back to their homes.

And as Richard said, just think, it is only 362 days until the THIRD ANNUAL CALIFORNIA BBQ!!!!!
