I wish I had good answers to your questions, but in this area I am pretty useless. It is not anything that I have ahad to deal with, sorry. I hope someone else can give you a good answer, we do have alot of very knowledgeable people on this board.

I would get a second opinion from another vet though. Even if I trust a vet, I always get a second opinion if it is dealing with something major and I have the time to do so. I would really do it in this case since you are not getting answers that you like from the current one.

However, I did want to send good thoughts to you and your kitties. They really are cuties.
