Yep. men can be REAL softies at heart, think that's why I luv em so much........my partner Trev's just like that..........when his daughter was young, he took a baby seagull to the vets, to have it's leg mended.............then they hand reared it.......just cause he didn't want to say "no" to his daughter........the old softy.........
