Yep, Merrick's is quite expensive. I quit giving it to Lefty because although he loved it, I suspected it was a bit rich for his sensitive belly. Now he gets Chicken Soup Adult Formula (might need to switch to Senior; he turns/turned 7 this month!) and some Hill's Prescription Diet Canine I/D for extra flavor. He doesn't eat much as a rule, but seems to like it well enough.
