Dog Chow is very basic and is missing a lot of things, like essential fatty acids. Don't get me started on Beneful, it's full of salt, sugar, and food dye for starters. You may want to consider bumping up to Purina O.N.E. You can still get it at the grocery store, and it's a much better quality food.
