My husband does hate cats, he will let Stubby sit on his lap as long as he doesn't have to touch him. If he had his way Stubby would stay outside, not come in and have to hunt for his food!

Stubby used to come in bringing some kind of live animal in. For instance, rabbits, chipmunks, rats, anything he could carry in. He did bring me a baby bird once. Of course he didn't want to give him up. LOL, I took it anyway, raised it and set it free. Stubby sit at the living room door staring at the bird all the time, wanting his bird back. It flew around in the living room and he loved watching it from the door between the hall and living room.

No offense taken at all! Stubby just has never forgiven me for taken his ''pride'' and his baby bird away form him.
