My husband crashed his motorcycle...(He's ok.)

I'm so gald your husband safe, thats what really matters.

My husband also races superbikes and cars and I'm always telling him the same things, "Be carefull", Please don't ride if it's wet slippery etc" I've even tried the guilt trip "What about me, Do you know what that will do to me if something happens to you?" You know what I mean. There's always the same answers back, "Trust me", "I know what I'm doing", "I always safe" etc etc.

He even cut back on it because of my Itchy at him so much, for a little while. Till one day I gave in, my friends thought I was a fool to give in, but I felt I had to. I relized something during that time he wasn't racing/riding, he wasn't as happy. If he not happy then we are not happy and although he was safe at home and I didn't worry any more, it wasn't enough. I have to let him do what he loves and makes him happy so we can be happy as a couple. I can't take something he cares about away, just as he would never take something that I cared about away from me.

So I trust him, even though you know that male ego still makes him do some dumb things, but he's happy. I still worry and have reason too, sometimes. Like now, in one of the spare rooms is parts of his bike with road rash marks all over them, because he crashed also. I'm just thankfull he's ok as I know you are with your hudsband.

We married men with a need for speed and we have to accept it, thats who they are, thats who we married. Be thankfull he's safe and sound and try not to be to angry at him. I know it's hard not to be angry and hopfull he learned a leasson so next time he'll be more carefull.

The bill not going to be a small one, I'm sure , so maybe that will keep him off it for a little while, till he gets it fixed. It will give him time to think about things. Like don't ride in the rain!!!!

Here's Paul's bike, be glad you don't have our repair bill on this one. It's going to cost us $85oz. just for the paint.
MEN AND THEIR TOYS!!!!! I say we need a hobby too, that worrys them, how do you feel about cliff diving?? LOL That will show them.
