I'd do a little of both. I'd probably put $100 aside for needs - food, litter, ect. and the rest I'd use as mad money. I'd probably buy the cats a really nice cat tree.
Would you so the sensible thing and buy what you might need in the furture?
Would you get those things that you always wanted but don't really need?
Or do a little of both, sensible and crazy?
