I'm not sure if Buddy is sad, and i'm not sure if he's even mistreated or anything. He's the sweetest dog ever, he's just outside alot, and he always wants to come over to our house. I'd love to go over, if it was already with my parents, and ask if I could take him. Maybe he likes being outside?? I'm fairly new here, so I haven't heard you mention Buddy before.
Maybe you could go over and ask if you can bring him to your yard for a play date. I used to do that with a neighbor's bullmastiff puppy. He loved coming over to play with Emily.
