My friends have been celebrating the return of light for many years, and now we do too.
December 22nd. is the shortest day of the year, and from the 23rd., the days start getting longer again.
On the evening of the shortest day, candles are lit throughout the house (also the Christmas tree) and good food, wine and cakes are put on the table. Games are being played in the evening. So cosy, don't you think?Their children love it!
