Hi everyone! I discovered PT a little while ago but am just now getting around to introducing my little boy. His full name is Boomer Sooner in honor of the Oklahoma Univ. fight song (my husband's decision) Boomer is a very laid back cat, as long as the doorbell doesn't ring and the vacuum cleaner stays safely in the closet. He doesn't usually like to be a lap cat, but simply MUST follow me around from room to room while my husband is away at work. Boomer came to live in our home about a month or two ago when his previous owners had a baby and discovered that their new baby was allergic to poor Boomer. My husband was very adament that we were not to have a cat while living on the military base over here in Japan.(He's not technically allowed in our apartment
) However he knew how much i wanted a cat and Boomer (then named Oscar) just practically fell into our laps and my sweet husband caved in
It didn't take long before my husband's rule of "No cats on the furniture" was overturned and now Boomer is a regular fixture on our bed by night and couch/chairs by day. I've attached a picture of him because i haven't yet figured out how to put it into this actual message.
