We showed my nice neighbour Mr Stray in the carry box, on the way home from the vets.
She said he is NOT the nasty ladies cat from down the road, hence we are free to rehome him
Shame that we don't have the space to keep him. So I have to ring the CPL in the morning.
(Though if he stopped hissing at Steve, he's lovely to me..........I have explained he would get mellower when he is neutered)

Well the vet say he's got severe conjucntivitus (sp?), he's had an antibiotic shot for that plus we've got some cream. He's not been neutered or chipped. His teeth and gums are fine, and he's generaly very healthy.
No suprises really, but no bad news either.
Which is nice.
He'll be going to the CPL once his eye's better, to find a nice new home.
