The trap was empty this morning. So before I left work at the end of the day, I set out some fresh sardines (eeewwww!!). I worked at Big Lots tonight till 10:30 and decided to check the trap before going home, as it's raining out and IF she was in there, I didn't want her to be out in the trap all night.

Well, when I got there, it was tripped. But I figured she got in and out. When I lifted the towels, there she was!!! The good news is, she's not feral at all!!! Just very scared and ravenous! I've got the trap in my spare room with the doors closed and a soft light on. The trap has a door I can lift to feed her. She wolfed down a half can of Whiskas and was crunching on the kibble. Poor things was starving! She's very calm so I'm sure she's not feral, which means, I'll bring her to the shelter and sign her in. They'll do all the testing and stuff, give her her shots and then I'll foster her.

She's a beautiful Tortie, very petite. I managed to get a pretty good picture of her in the trap.

I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow at the shelter. I'm SO glad I was finally able to trap her. I was worried she'd get pregnant , again, if she isn't already. It took me almost 2 weeks, but it was worth the patience.

WOOHOO!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy!!
