how true spencer!!!! i just got back from dogs and cats forever...unfortunatly only the caretaker roger was there...i am going again tomorrow a.m.....he said he thought that they had again offered to take them...since the bite case...as you say other than rescue groups i don't know where else they can go....still have heard not a peep from fl. gsd rescue organizations...i thought that they would at least respond with a yeah or a nay!!!...well if nothing else...i am now an official volunteer at d&cforever...i bring my paperwork back tomorrow....you know letting them know that their is not an axe murderer in my immediate family!! i have been wanting to do this for a long time...i am scared to volunteer at the shelter...i don't know if i could handle working with a dog or cat one week and them being gone the next...(i don't mean to loving homes either)..so i admit i am a coward...but d&c forever has dogs and cats that have been there since birth...spencer you would love the cat wing....4 fenced play areas...(a long porch seperated and then meshed and roofed) so all cats can go in and out as they please..and the dogs are all healthy and as happy as can be...they have fenced sleep areas...but they all get playtime out of their cages....so maybe some good has come of this terrible situation...i know that i cannot save them all....but a girl can try can't she?!?!?!please let me know if anyone hears anything back.....thanks again...the deli dog
